2017 Canadian Videogame Awards


In November 2017, Ottawa will host not only the Canadian Videogame Awards, but they’ll also host the national championship for gamers. Semi-finals and final matches will be projected in monumental proportions onto buildings across Ottawa.

The Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens to face off outdoors, but this one will be under the stars. This great match up between the Senators and Habs, will mark the 100th anniversary of the first game in NHL history played between Ottawa and Montreal at the Dey’s Arena in Ottawa on Dec. 19, 1917.

JANUARY 10-MARCH 10, 2017

Every winter, 7.8 km (4.8 miles) of the Rideau Canal transforms into the world’s largest outdoor skating rink, as designated by Guinness World Records.
